    Hello folks
I have an issue in sending work completed in Coreldraw (my favoured design software) into flexi 19 in order to set up print and cut, flexi simply will not set up a contour line (other than a rectangle or ellipse around the sent design.
Previous to obtaining my HP latex 335 and SAi flexi 19 I sent print and cut work to an outside supplier by sending them a jpg overlaid with my contour shape in EPS format that they converted to their own cutcontour path and proceeded with the work.
Exporting an EPS as above and importing into Flexi 19 has varied results, none of them the desired one.
Tried other files types than EPS also with no results.
I even exported a jpg from coreldraw and back into flexi and then tried to make the white areas transparent as a Youtube vid showed, the file either cannot be made transparent or if is does, I cannot set up a contour path, the same jpg held in customer documents (not imported into Corel) can be imported into Flexi 19, made transparent and then I can get a contour cut line no problem ?????
I have no problem exporting EPS from Corel into Flexi to either cut or print just a problem with the print and cut.
If anyone has knowledge of the above problem and a fix please let me know before I kick the cat Grinning… (don’t have a cat but you get my drift…

In coreldraw you need to set up a colour name CutContour and give it a spot colour of 100% magenta then flexi will pick it up.

    Thanks

When you open the design in Flexi have a look and see if it has been masked. I sometimes have to unmask the image first.
