Have been ripping whats left of my hair out trying to solve this issue.

I have an item with a soft edge bevel which I need to change to a pantone colour. Trouble is if I apply the pantone colour the item changes to near white with a coloured edge rather than the correct colour. Select an RGB or CMYK and all is fine again. Do this (pantone) a few times and X5 crashes!

    Anyone else had this problem?

(ps guess someone is going to say X6 has solved this issue ;o)

    Hi Colin

i thought the bevel was a bit map so you can’t select a spot colour or is that X3

    may be wrong as usual

    Hi Chris

You could be right but it does let you select a spot colour but the effect is strange. Just a very washed out version, like a tint of white. Have got round this by selecting a CMYK similar to pantone needed.

    Cheers
