    Hi all, hope your well and busy.

    Thought i would share a fitting method for tint which i used today for the first time. Im not sure if this is a common method but it was new to me and worked a treat.

    So ive always fitted tint with either stripping it off on a window, wetting and flipping (smaller stuff)
    and for bigger jobs 2 people holding each side stripping off wetting and fitting to window. Pretty standard.

    However this year ive been fitting a few outside jobs, glass is gassed so tint needs to go outside and because of weather conditions this caused a few issues (mainly wind)

    Todays jobs i used a different method which i found online. Windows were large 1900 by 1650mm.
    -Wet window
    – Roll the film up with adhesive side towards you
    – release an inch from top, and remove liner
    – wet the outside of the remaining roll and touch the liner to it
    – turn over touch the top inch to the window and slowly release the roll onto the window.

    Basically the liner sticks to the outside and peels itself off as you unravel the roll. Speeded up fitting time, less contamination and risk of something going wrong.

    $this->BBvideo_pass(‘$8’, ‘$4’, ‘$7’)

    Not sure if im behind with the times and you all use this method anyway but thought i would share this miracle.
