    Hi Guys,

Does anyone have or use Pricelists in clarity?

Im looking to import a few suppliers like hexis/grafityp/spandex and was wondering if anybody had the excel sheet with all the prices to import.

    Thanks, Kev.

Yes we use clarity and pricelists.

I’ve yet to find a supplier who supplies them in a format to import them into clarity.

If there’s loads ot may be easier to make your own list in excel and import.

    Hi David,

Yeah I’ve asked a few but no one seems to do it.

I think ill need a few hours ([emoji25]) copying from pdf pricelists from the various suppliers.

Added mine as required. Have it a year now. Still added products weekly.

Just asked for a quote for the nesting module today. Any of you guys use it?

How long did it take you to do?

Not seen the nesting module, just had a quick look at it.. is it for print only? Versaworks has a nest function built in which is good for multiple prints.

Does anyone use the pod module and app?
That looked really good and would save us time but looked abit on the pricey side when they quoted it.

Yes I use it for mainly quoting print.

The nesting module saves you using the quoting wizard every time for each print on the quote. You just select the wizard and put multiple sizes in, provided they are all on the same stock.

    It’s an expensive add on.

I have clarity go aswell. The app is basically just a diary. I don’t use it much. The quoting side of clarity is web based with go. Downside is you can’t use the pricing wizard. Everything must be manually worked out.

I got clarity manly to take the thinking out of quoting so the wizards are key for me.

I use go at home or on the road to convert quotes to invoices and quotes that can’t wait.

If you have a vpn setup you can just use the standard software as normal.

Had a look a shop vox. Whilst it has some cool features that clarity charge a hefty price for, it doesn’t seem to have the specific tools like the calc wizards do.

We run both Large & small Format wizards, great at making decisions between printing a job ourselves or outsourcing, accurate records at our finger tips, and all liked to our file server so artwork is just a click away.

We use google calendar & trello as a cheaper alterntaive to clarity’s production module.

Have you got to set one up for each product? Banner/poster/sign etc?

There’s pro’s & con’s to each. Either one is better than neither IMHO.
