I have some Exhibition stuff to do, all on 3mm Foamex. The majority of the panels are square or rectangular and my supplier will cut them for a few extra pence.

However, they have a minimum charge of £75 to router cut 4 x 45cm circles and I’m searching for another way of cutting them myself.

It there a tool that one can buy that will cut Foamex and give a nice clean finish?

Dont know what the proper way to do this is Martin so I cant help you there, probably routered.
I have a trammel set from my days as an engineer so I use that, cuts up to about 1mtr diameter. You could always ask you local engineering firm if they have a tool you can borrow. They are expensive so it wouldnt be worth your while buying one on the off chance you have to cut circles in the future.
You never know if you speak to the local engineer he might even do them for you for the price of a drink, worth a try.
