  • Best price for Eco Sol Max ?

    Hi,

What would be a good current price for a 220ml genuine Roland Eco Sol Max C,M,Y or Black cartridge?

I’ve heard that Robert Horne or PrintMax are good suppliers. Is that correct?

I’ve got a BN-20. I don’t know whether to stick to the smaller size cartridge. I don’t use masses of ink, and it’s more black than the others.

The waste tank is the first consumable to sort out.

    Thanks for any help.

    Chris

    Hi Chris

Try signmaster. 440’s will definitely lower your ink cost but is BN-20 still under warranty, ‘cos as far as I know Roland don’t officially approve running 440’s in BN-20? Also with waste tank have you taken one apart (again see warranty) because new wadding is cheap! 😀

    Thanks Hugh.

Yes, it is still very much under warranty, and I vaguely remember the technician who installed it, saying something about 440 cartridges. I think it might be because the cartridges are on the side, and longer ones would add a lot to the width?

I was thinking of buying one new tank, and then having a look at the full one.

So yes, I will need to keep within any warranty guidlines.

Yes adds quite a bit to width so if you have the bn-20 in compact space might cause problems! Also if they get knocked guess extra length would add to leverage load. Puzzled as to why they had a vertical install like on our VS640, which would have heped with bn-20 footprint – only now I see they have gone back to horizontal on the vs-i new range 🙄

new waste tank and take apart old one was exactly what we did – very impressive overkill enginering (and pricing) for black plastic receptacle!
