  • B&P, I finally solved my problem after 3 years!

Thought i’d take liberty of sharing this. 3 years ago i purchased a (reconditioned) grenadier from b&p.was a total newbie but 3 years later taught myself and with much grief have graduated to a novice techie (no decent engineers where i am). Anyhow to cut a long story short this is the last problem (hopefully) of the many i’ve tried to solve. The light magenta and light cyan never worked properly, so for 3 years have been printing just cmyk. Anyhow with a weekends spare time on my hand, investigated trouble shooted and solved. No o rings used on the connector between ink line and the rear of cartridge. Was a bum to get to but managed in the end. Now who would have imagined that!

So B&P sold you a reconditioned printer with no O-rings then? Sounds about right!

I had the same problem, I was getting ink starvation on magenta, changed filters, pulled the machine apart and found air getting into the tubes at the joints. My machine was new or so they said.
