Anyone printing from Signlab 9 using a Mutoh Valuejet 1604?
We are just about to setup Signlab 9.1 to do our printing on our Valuejet 1604.
However we seem to be experiencing banding
We are currently using Wasatch 6.2 with no problems.
We are trying to replicate the profiles from Wasatch but the banding is a serious issue.
If we could delete using Wasatch and just use Signlab, some of our problems wih transfering certain files/effects would be eliminated.
We have tried most of the profiles and are still experiencing banding.
It is just we invested so much in Signlab it seems a shame not to use the print part of the programme isn’t used.
Is anyone using both Signlab 9 & printing with a Mutoh Valuejet 1604? -

What kind of banding are you getting ?
What format are you using to send files to print. EPS – TIFF _PDF
Some file types can cause trouble with banding.Set up a gradient print test and try different formats, see which gives better results.
