Anyone buying empty Canon cartridges?

I haven’t heard of companies actually “buying” used carts, but I can see there being a value in them.
I think there were a few companies offering to collect different types of carts free of charge, a few years back but I forget the names now. basically, they sent you a prepaid box for you to fill and they uplifted them by a carrier.

I would imagine the best way to find out would be to shoot a quick email to canon and ask them directly.
