How long did that actually take to paint Simon?….once you were up there with templates in place etc

It’s like watching paint dry…oh hang on… [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]. Top work.

I was trying to guage the time from the shadows and I’d guesstimated 2hours 27 minutes 😆 😉
I love watching these

Thanks for sharing Simon, cheers mate…
"Question." these days, what determines you to use modern day methods over traditional?
Reason I ask is, looking at that design. You could easily have cut it in vinyl and be done with it, yet you used paint.
I sort of thought that sign makers that can offer both traditional AND use modern day methods would apply the craft route when there is more call for that look or type of sign. Sorry, may sound a daft question… just me thinking out loud. :smiles: -
Good question Rob.
However there is an explanation or two.
1. The panel had been badly painted by the new occupants of the shop, without primer, and I feared that new Vinyl would tear off the paint when I removed the app tape.
2. I really enjoy signwriting and dont get to do it as often as I would like to.
3. Small imperfections in a hand written sign give it "Character". This is debateable, but hipsters and steam punk adherents will back me up :smiles:
4. We got to make a cool video
