  • Gallery: Various Signage, almost as far north as it gets!

Been a tiring few months. Since end of March and taking in a second printer, we’ve had every main machine break, a courier firm switch, which ended in more missing parcels then we got delivered for weeks, several boys off at once for weeks at a time (not covid) BUT I finished work at 5:30pm today.

We’ve done some ok things. First time ordering in built up letters which are halo lit. First time using fabric boxes (spirit displays). Been using a lot more locators in jobs. Finally got good confidence in them and out technique. Van design is getting better. But certainly and area am going to try harder in over rest of the summer.

Criticism welcome. Only way we will get better, that’s the whole point of getting up in the morning.

Hopefully. Think we are over the line now. It’s a bit of a convoy belt as you know, and when stuff starts falling off it’s hard to pick that up and keep up with the rest.

Tried putting in the emails we had a delayed response time, but that didn’t really help. End up focusing a bit more on new customers, keeping regulars as normal and then working my way back through customers we’d missed in the chaos. Worked better. Few angry folk and a lot of apologising, but overall I think we lost about 3 or 4 jobs to others. Could of been worse.

      Cheers rob.

Yea ordered in. Never done one before. Didn’t even do the artwork, that was supplied by the theatre we do the work for. Although those with super eagle eyes will notice there’s a Gaelic spelling mistake so had to re-do the faces.

Hoping to do more. Got to say spirit displays got a 10/10. Quality is great. Unbelievably easy to install. Turn around was about 8 working days from place order to it being in our workshop.

We do indeed. Garments on top of that. Keeps the grey hairs coming 😂

Nah Spirit displays supplied the full lot. There double printed. Silicone beed round the edges so it can tuck into the frame and keep tight.

Got the letters from camberely signs as they could do chrome. We ment to have another one about twice the size but planning has pulled the plug. They want a flat aluminium panel screwed into an old Victorian church wall. No frame. No flat surface. No sign tray… least they have moved away from insisting that every sign into he town centre is to be wooden… 🙄
