.ai file – unable to open on Corel X7
Hi all.
As the title suggests, I have a downloaded (licensed) .ai image from the Stock Adobe website.
No matter how I try to open it (double-click, drag & drop, import etc) I cannot open the file. I have also tried different (older) software packages and have even tried online services.
Anyway, the end result is the same. I can’t open the file. So I thought I would ask and see if anyone with an up-to-date version of AI could try the file for me? There is a series of these images I want to download, but if the file is okay but I am unable to open it, I will probably/possibly opt to download just the .jpg versions, although my preference is to download a vector graphic.
But before I attach the file, I just wanted to check with the admins that it was okay to do so?

I have the latest adobe illustrator so if you email it to me kev@kjsigns.uk I will happily have a look and send some other versions back. I have had this before with stock ai files that wont open in Flexi direct but once saving them as eps or pdf they open ok, sure its just something used that does not agree with other software.
