    Hello all,

We’ve got a job to print some stickers. Theres a logo then underneath are numbers 1 through to 300.
Is there a way to create a matrix easily so we dont have to type in all the numbers into the design?

You could use Illustrators "Variables" tool, it’s been a long while since I’ve used it but you can import an XML file and get it to put that data into one text field.
It’s still quite a long winded process. I’d suggest making the list of numbers in Excel which can be done quite quickly by just dragging the numbers down. Then you’ll need to save that to import into Illustrator.

    Thanks Richard,

Ive managed to get as far as creating variables in illustrator only to find that Rasterlink doesnt allow me to nest print and cut files. grrrrr

I now cant figure out to simply cut and paste the variables into illustrator as it keeps mucking up the layers!!

This is doing my swede in
