    Hello there

Don’t want to start rambling on about stuff I’m not to sure about but does anyone know the possible issues you would encounter running 32 bit adobe software on a 64 bit processor running 64 bit windows 7 pro?

I was wondering the same about 32 bit apps as well, it seems to be a question of trying it as far as I can find out.
Other problems can be printer drivers, scanners etc.

A quick search seems to indicate that CS4 has a 64bit version, they are just playing with flash 64 bit as well.

From what I understand more driver issues than application. I run 32 bit W7 and chose this because my Epson scanner and some printers I had don’t have 64 bit drivers for W7. X5 definitely runs ok and I’m pretty sure Signlab does too.
No 1 son had a 64 bit W7 machine and we had trouble with pci wireless cards again W7 64 bit. If you have older printers and scanners look to manufacturers web sites for driver availability but newish applications should be ok.

As far as I know there’s no problems involved. You’ll see a performance increase in running 64-bit apps on a 64-bit OS though. Running 32-bit Illustrator and Photoshop on W7 64-bit without any issues.

For me the 32-bit OSes limiting you to 4 gigs of RAM is more of an issue.
